Day 1
Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent game viewing, especially in the dry season. Enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge.
Day 2
Tarangire – Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before heading to the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive offers beautiful landscapes, Maasai villages, and rich cultural sights. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu for an evening at leisure.
Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Flight to Zanzibar (Late Afternoon)
Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places to spot the Big Five. After a full day game drive and picnic lunch in the crater floor, drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort.
Day 4
Zanzibar Island – Beach Relaxation
Enjoy a full day at leisure on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar. Swim in the turquoise waters, sip on fresh coconut juice, or relax under a palm tree. Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, or a spa session.
Day 5
Zanzibar – Stone Town & Spice Tour (Optional)
After breakfast, take an optional guided tour of Stone Town, a historic Swahili trading hub, and explore its winding alleys, markets, and architecture. You can also take a spice plantation tour to learn about Zanzibar's world-famous cloves, nutmeg, and other spices.
Day 6
Zanzibar – Leisure & Water Activities
Spend another relaxed day on the beach or take part in optional water sports such as kayaking, windsurfing, or a dhow sunset cruise.
Day 7
Departure from Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. You can connect back to Arusha or fly internationally, depending on your departure plans.
